How you pay, where the card details go, and what we can and cannot see.

What we accept

• Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and UnionPay
• Apple Pay and Google Pay, where your device offers them
• Shop Pay

The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout and depend on your country and device.

Where your card details go

Straight to the payment processor, over an encrypted connection, and nowhere near us. Card numbers are never stored on our systems and are never visible to anyone at Jorlaxis — not in an order record, not in an email, not in a support ticket.

Our checkout runs on Shopify, which is certified PCI DSS Level 1. Every page of this store is served over TLS, which is what the padlock in your browser bar is reporting.

What we do see

Your name, delivery address, email address, what you ordered, and the last four digits and brand of the card. That is enough to pack a parcel and deal with a problem, and it is all we keep.

When you are charged

At the moment the order is placed. If we cannot fulfil something, we refund it to the original payment method — usually within two business days at our end, though your bank may take a few days more to show it.

Currency, duty and tax

All prices are in United States dollars. If your card is in another currency your bank converts it at their own rate and may add a fee we have no sight of.

Import duty and local tax on international orders are charged by your own customs authority and are not included in our prices. We declare parcels honestly, at the price paid, and we will not mark an order as a gift.

Suspicious activity

If an order looks fraudulent we may hold it and email the address on file before shipping. If you think your card has been used without your permission, contact your bank first — they can act faster than we can — and then tell us at info@jorlaxis.com so we can stop the parcel if it has not gone.

What we will never do

• Ask for your full card number, PIN or online banking password by email
• Ask you to pay by bank transfer, gift card or cryptocurrency
• Send you a link to a payment page from any domain other than jorlaxis.com or the Shopify checkout it hands off to

If you receive a message claiming to be from us that does any of those things, it is not from us. Forward it to info@jorlaxis.com.
